Dan looked at my concerns outside and he determined that is nothing to do with the foundation. He explained the nature of the problem and the available options for repair. The internal issue was consistent with the external assessment. The fireplace just needed a bit of repair. Dan was personable and provided thoughtful explanations. I met Dan H. this afternoon, to talk about my pooling water issue in the inside corner of my foundation, in my crawlspace. We had CNT, along with a few other “reputable” companies come out to inspect some cracks on the foundation of the home we are trying to sell. The other companies tried to sell us thousands of dollars worth of work that they “recommended” without doing a proper inspection. CNT came out and did a complete inspection under the house, as well as measurements inside the house to determine any sinking or shifting in the foundation. No other company even stepped foot in the home. They were the only company that was honest, and told us that there is nothing wrong with the foundation, the cracks are only in the stucco on the outside which are superficial, and that NO work needed to be done at this time. They wrote us a clearance letter to use to ease the buyers mind, and satisfy any questions with the inspection. They would have benefited more financially to try to sell us work that wasn’t needed, but instead they were upfront and honest. We paid a small fee for the inspection versus thousands for unneeded repairs. Travis and TC have both been fantastic to work with and gone above and beyond to help in any way possible. If you need any type of foundation work, call CNT. You will not be disappointed and you will not find nicer, more honest people.
